1. Connection of the LVDs cable (in case of having a standard screen)
This cable can be CCC, CIC, NBT or EVO.
Don't worry if your connector is not the same as the one in the image, since the one in the image is for the CIC type connector.
Disconnect the LVDs cable from the old screen and connect it to the new screen.
Disconnect the rest of the cables from the old screen (if applicable) and leave them isolated (since they will not be used).

Here you can see an example of the LVD connections

2. GPS antenna connection
Make the connection as shown in the image and place the signal receiver preferably on the car dashboard in order to obtain good GPS coverage.

3. 3/4/5G antenna connection
Please note that this option not available on all models. If this is not your case (not having said antenna) go to the next step.
Make the connection as shown in the image and place the signal receiver preferably on the car dashboard in order to obtain good data coverage.

4. Connecting USB input ports
Make the connection as shown in the image and preferably place the ports in the glove compartment of your car in order to be able to connect external devices in an accessible way.

5. Audio connection
Use the audio cable with 2 jack connections to connect the output labeled "AUDIO OUT" on the main harness to your car's auxiliary input.
Normally, this entry is located near the armrest or glove box.

6. External microphone connection
Connect the male connector of the microphone to the female connector of the main harness called "MIC" and place the microphone at the height of the driver's head in order to have good gain.

7. Main harness connection
Make the connection as shown in the image. Disconnect the main harness located on the car radio and connect it to the main harness on the display. Finally, connect the end of the cable to the radio's main harness where you had initially disconnected the cable.

✏️ [Important] If your car has fiber optics, we must move the two channels to the new wiring harness.

8. Rear camera connection
Use the Yellow RCA cable called "BACK IN" and the pink cable called "BACK" to connect the RCA video input of the rear camera and the trigger (red cable) of the rear camera.
✏️ [Important] If your BMW has a rear camera as standard, you should NOT install the rear camera

To continue with the rear camera installation, refer to the corresponding manual.
