Rear camera installation manual (connections)

Congratulations on purchasing our Android Screen Rear Camera for BMW! This manual will guide you through the installation (connections) process step by step.

Your rear camera comes with a 2-year warranty. If you experience any problems or need additional assistance, please contact our technical support team via WhatsApp or email.

1. Connection

✏️ [Important] If your BMW has an automatic gear change, we will make the connections at the rear end, but we will NOT connect it to positive or ground, we will leave them isolated with insulating tape. If it does not work, then YES we will connect it to positive and ground.

Rear end (pilot): We make the RCA connection (yellow male/female connector) and then we proceed to join the red cables and connect them to the positive cable of the reversing light. Next we join the negative cables and connect them to ground (car body).

Front end (screen): We connect the red cable to the reverse trigger of the screen and make the RCA connection to the camera video input of the screen.

Attention! All connections must be insulated with insulating adhesive tape.

2. Problems and solutions

- The image is seen upside down or in mirror mode
In camera settings, disable the mirror/inverted image option.

- Sometimes the image is only displayed for a few seconds or appears streaky (blurring/interference)
You must install a filter [To buy it click here] between the chamber and pilot/ground connections.
